​As a final activity of the year, our students from 11th grade English plan común delighted us with a play called “The Last Seat”. This play was written and directed by them.
At first, it was a bit difficult to come into agreements due to the burst of different ideas they had! but little by little, those ideas were connected and transformed into a play about mystery and suspense. Different activities were held in the process and many videos of famous authors on the genre, such as Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, etc. were watched so as to get inspiration.
The actresses, or better said, THE STARS were: Catalina Blumen as Lily, Dominga Beckmann as Sarah, Samira Borie as Brianna, Valentina Alcalde as Tiffany, Beatriz Bennett as Chloe, Elisa Roque as Rachel and Jason, Florencia Machuca and María de los Ángeles Vera as flight attendants and Amelia Duclos as Diana.
We are very happy to see how committed students are when it comes to not only producing English, but also having fun in the process of learning!
